Challenge to All Working Moms
June 16, 2009 in Challenges by Katherine
Crys has posted a challenge to all working moms! She has asked that if you are a working mom, take some time this weekend to make a craft with your kids. Then find a nice doorstep of someone in your neighborhood that could use a bit of cheering up and SNEAK IT THERE!
Post here after you have completed the challenge. Did you and your kids roll with laughter as you tried to sneak to the doorstep? Did you see your neighbor find the gift? Tell it all!
YOU GOT IT! I actually got posterboard at the dollar store and paint/brushes. My 6 year old son painted a.. well… “interesting” flower and sun on the posterboard and I helped him write “Have a great day”… we are going to sneak it on a friend’s doorstep in the next neighborhood and RUN!
I’ll join in. Cookies. Marion Manor in Virginia Beach. Will grab an employee in the parking lot, give it to them and walk away. I’m nervous but think it will be great! I might even send my daughter up with the cookies!
All right how about this. I don’t have a lot of money, but I printed your slips and I am going to put one on someone’s car in the parking lot at Petsmart tomorrow with a five dollar bill. Can’t wait – I will feel like a kid again!
I had an extra concert ticket since a friend of mine couldn’t go. It was to a really great concert too. I had lawn seats. I actually put the ticket under a stranger’s windshield wiper! There were country music station stickers on the car so I think they would want to go to the concert. I was SO SCARED my heart was pounding but I put it under and raced away laughing at myself. I hope they went to the concert or passed the ticket to someone they know!
